Good’eavens

I watched the Green Mile last night for the first time. It was quite the film, although I wish someone had warned me that it was some 3 hours long…!

I found a really strange bunch of mashups last night. One album features Bob Dylan crossed with different artists including Kanye West, David Bowie and The Police. Some of the songs do not fit together whatsoever, but there are a handful that manage to fuse artists together pretty seamlessly. Hit the link below to check it out.

I just saw this photo, and to me it’s beautiful. I may be biased because of my love for India, but the Gateway truly is an astounding monument. It also feels particularly strange when I consider that my Grandpa came to England from Mumbai when he was 18 years old. That he used to go to the Gateway to smoke cigarettes without people knowing. That he often visited Leopold’s bar, a place that I have sat within. It’s sad that he passed away last year, but it’s fitting knowing that there will be always be places to visit and contemplate his life.
