My music taste tends to lean towards a folk orientated sound, although I do not claim to be an expert on the subject of folk music in general. I like what I like and I hope I can provide a few recommendations that you will appreciate and seek to purchase in the near future.

I guess it’s about keeping an ear to the ground when it comes to finding new music. I mostly enjoy North American music, I think there’s a hell of a lot of good material coming out of that part of the world at the minute, a lot of it deserves more attention than it currently receives…

Always wanted a way to get “inside” the us folk scene, but couldnt get started – you are helping a lot….
I know you are looking towards the US mostly, but i was listening to radio ulster the other day, and heard some really good acts on it that i thought you might like.
The Eleanor Shanley concert is well worth listening to, as are the Helsops and one song in particular by Sandy Denny.
If you miss it on Iplayer, im recording it and could make the whole show, or parts, available for you.
